Hossain Hamidifar is a senior expert in Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) with more than 28 years of professional experience in the fields of project management, digital transformation, and information technology. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Process Design for the Oil Industry from Sharif University of Technology.
Recognized as one of the early pioneers in the PMIS domain, he developed and led the implementation of the first comprehensive Project Management Information System in the country in 2002. Over the past 26 years, he has dedicated his professional activities to advancing the practice, methodology, and technological foundations of PMIS. He is also the author of the first published book on Project Management Information Systems (2010), which is considered an early foundational reference in the field.
He is currently engaged in advanced research and scholarly studies in the field of Project Management Information Systems, focusing on the development of a comprehensive and authoritative knowledge reference for this discipline. His work aims to structure the concepts, models, and practices related to PMIS and contribute to the evolution of knowledge in this emerging domain.
